Our clients’ needs typically fall in the non-emergent medical transportation (NEMT) category.

• Please search for “NEMT <your ZIP code>” to find NEMT organizations in your area. If you are a medicare or medicaid client, many times there are free or low cost options.
• Many municipal departments of transportation offer NEMT services like dial-a-bus and others. This varies based on municipality size and location. Be sure to review your city and county based resources for ground transportation options.

There are several options to assist with free air travel. These organizations offer flights on commercial as well as private aircraft depending on the situation.

Previously, Ventures in Hope assisted patients and their families with navigating the system and finding available resource to assist with their medical travel needs.  Ventures in Hope is now working through the vast regulatory and personnel requirements to further our mission of providing charitable air travel.

No.  Ventures in Hope does not offer travel reimbursement or funding. When possible, we will provide referrals to organizations which may provide reimbursement.

Ventures in Hope works with other non-profits who compliment our mission.  For example, for air transportation, we work with Volunteer Pilot Organizations to connect our clients to free air transportation.  Ventures in Hope also works with lodging chains, franchises and local operators to secure specialized discounts for our clients.
